Anhui Bilun Tissue Paper (Smile) and PMP has achieved the next step in common cooperation. With a significant support of tissue mill directors: Mr. He Sheng Lin, General Manager, Mr. Xu Ming Yan, Chief Engineer and Mr. Wang Junyi, Assistant to GM, Smile and PMP intensified activities to extended the goals defined in contract for machine parameters. As tests has confirmed, the machine is capable to produce tissue with a capacity from 5 to 10% more than it was planned. Stabilization of the machine allows paper mill to achieve additional profits.

The signed Performance Protocol is a confirmation that the way of activity and development was chosen correctly. In addition optimum combination between costs and quality was achieved. The quality of the tissue is premium and the final product is impressive that brings Smile a good position among tissue producers.

PMP Group supplied a 2.82 m reel trim crescent former Intelli-Tissue™ 900 machine with a maximum operating speed of 1150 m/min and capacity of 51 tpd.  PMP’s scope of supply covered stock preparation, approach flow system, entire machine including auxiliary systems like lubrication system, steam & condensate and vacuum system and steam box. The TM produces virgin fiber-based tissue in a basis weight range of 13-18 gsm.

PMP is pleased to announce a successful completion of the replacement and start-up of a new Intelli-Jet V™ hydraulic headbox for Lamix. The scope of supply covers a new hydraulic headbox, stock approach, modification of press part and new suction roll.

Lamix is a producer of paper as well as finished paper products: Z-Z towels, jumbo toilet paper, towels in roll, hygienic tissues and industrial rolls. Many of the products offered by Lamix has achieved the leading position within the market. PMPoland S.A. supplied a single-layer Intelli Jet V™ headbox that was installed on the existing fourdrinier machine, PM#1, with a pondside width of 2,550 mm and a design speed of 800 mpm. The main goal of the project was quality improvements with both basis weight profile and formation. The new headbox was also designed to allow for future machine capacity increases. Successful start-up of the new hydraulic headbox is a key role for both Lamix and PMPoland S.A. It is an important milestone of building partnership relationships for the future cooperation.

We would like to announce that Zhangjiagang Huaxing Papermaking Co. Ltd. at the beginning of 2010 decided to choose PMP Group as a supplier of the 2 new Intelli-Jet V™ hydraulic headboxes for their existing PM#2.

Zhangjiagang Huaxing Papermaking Co. Ltd. is a manufacturer of cardboard paper founded as a subsidiary of the very famous Jiangsu Huaji Group in China which is a province-level group enterprise incorporating machinery manufacture, R&D, industry and trade.

Two new PMP Intelli-Jet V™ headboxes will be installed on the PM#2 which  produces 2-ply fluting in the basis weight 90-180 gsm. The new Intelli-Jet V™ headboxes of pondsides 5741 mm and operating speed of 580 mpm will be fully designed and manufactured at PMP Group headquarters in Europe/Poland.

The equipment supply is scheduled to be completed in the middle of 2010. The Customer chose PMP as a reliable partner in the paper business and also because of big impression of PMP’s rich references and professionalism in the line.

We would like to announce, that in November PMPoland S.A. – member of PMP Group signed a contract with one of the North American Paper Maker for two new hydraulic headboxes and auxiliary systems. The target of the rebuild is a maintenance replacement.

PMP scope of supply covers two Intelli-Jet headboxes with fun pumps, attenuators (pulsation dumper), and thermal stabilization system. One of supplied headboxes will be equipped with dilution system (consistency profiling) and the second one will be ready for future CP installation. New headboxes and Integrated Dilution System will assure better quality of final product. The 2-channel hydraulic headboxes will be installed on existing paper machine in one of Russian paper mills. The headboxes have 5000 width.

PMP will be also responsible for the assembly on the Customer site. Assembly of the equipment and the machine start-up is scheduled on June 2010.

In January 2010, PMP received the order for new Intelli-Jet V™ hydraulic headbox. The headbox will be installed in one of Chinese paper mill.

The 9-channel headbox will be 4654 mm wide. Delivery and the start-up is planned on the middle of 2010.
